1. What JustSeconds does

JustSeconds lets users upload files and folders, create temporary shareable links, and generate QR codes that point to those links. Some features are available without an account, while registered users can access additional sharing options.

2. Information you provide

When you create an account, contact us, or use certain features, JustSeconds may receive information you choose to provide, such as your email address, account details, and messages submitted through the contact form.

3. Uploaded files and file information

To provide file-sharing services, JustSeconds processes uploaded files and related information. This may include file names, file types, file sizes, upload dates, expiration dates, share-link identifiers, and account information associated with a transfer.

Uploaded content may also be reviewed when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, technical support, service moderation, or legal compliance.

4. How uploaded files are used

Uploaded files are stored so that the temporary share link can function. JustSeconds uses uploaded files to provide the sharing service requested by the user and to maintain the security and operation of the platform.

5. Share links and access

Anyone who has access to an active share link may be able to access or download the files associated with that link, unless additional protections such as a password apply.

You should only share links with people you intend to give access to and should avoid posting private links publicly unless that is your intention.

6. Link expiration and retention

Guest links are designed to expire after 7 days. Registered users may select longer expiration periods, up to 30 days where available.

When a transfer expires, the associated file may no longer be available through its public share link. Certain technical, security, or account records may be retained longer when reasonably necessary to operate and protect the service.

7. Accounts

If you create an account, JustSeconds may store information connected to that account, such as your email address, authentication information handled by our authentication provider, account settings, and upload history.

8. Local storage and website analytics

JustSeconds may use browser local storage or session storage to remember preferences, support site functionality, reduce duplicate visit tracking, and assign a visitor identifier for basic website analytics.

9. Service providers

JustSeconds uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate features such as file storage, authentication, hosting, security, and website functionality. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide the services used by JustSeconds.

10. Security

JustSeconds uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect the service and user information. However, no online service or method of electronic storage can guarantee absolute security.

11. Your choices

You can choose not to create an account, avoid uploading information you do not want to share, and allow temporary links to expire. Registered users may also manage available account and sharing options through the service.

We may update this Privacy Policy when JustSeconds adds or changes features, security practices, or service providers. The latest revision date will be shown at the top of this page.
