Copyright reporting

Copyright and infringement reports.

You must have the right to upload and share the files you send through JustSeconds. Copyright owners and people authorized to act for them can report a transfer that shares their work without permission.

Identify the work and the exact transfer

Use Contact JustSeconds and begin the message with Copyright report. Include enough information to distinguish the work you own from the material you believe is being shared without authorization.

  1. Identify the copyrighted work, or provide a representative list when the report concerns several works.
  2. Provide each exact JustSeconds transfer URL and explain which material in the transfer is at issue. A file name alone may not identify the transfer.
  3. Provide your name, contact address, telephone number, and email address so we can follow up.
  4. Explain whether you are the owner or an authorized representative, and include an electronic or physical signature.
  5. State your good-faith belief that the reported use is not authorized by the owner, a representative, or applicable law.
  6. Confirm that the information is accurate and state, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the right at issue.

Send the report in the message field. Do not re-upload the disputed file, disclose a transfer password, or include unrelated sensitive documents. Where a public reference helps identify your work, provide that reference rather than copying the whole work into the message.

What happens after a report

We review the information and may request clarification, restrict access to material, or take account action under our Terms. A clear report helps us locate the correct transfer and assess the rights concern. We do not promise an automatic outcome simply because a form was submitted.

If you believe your own transfer was incorrectly restricted, contact us with its URL, the relevant correspondence, and an explanation of your authority to share the material. Do not re-upload disputed material just to bypass a restriction.

Report accurately

Copyright ownership is different from disliking a file or being mentioned in it. If the concern is unauthorized personal information, fraud, or unsafe material, use the abuse reporting process and describe that concern. Only submit a copyright complaint when you have a good-faith basis and authority to do so.
