About JustSeconds

A simpler way to hand over a file.

JustSeconds is an independently operated file transfer service built around a short workflow: upload a file, get a link, and send it to the person who needs it.

What we make

The product combines temporary file links with QR codes. You can send a large document through a chat without attaching the entire file, package a project folder into one download, or open a computer’s transfer on a phone by scanning the code on screen.

Basic sending works without an account. A free account adds upload history, a larger daily allowance, optional download passwords, and longer expiration choices. Our workflow page explains the actual controls, while the guides cover the details of particular handoffs.

Why the links are temporary

Sending a copy and maintaining a permanent shared folder are different jobs. JustSeconds focuses on delivery. Guest transfers last 7 days; registered transfers last up to 30 days. Files should be downloaded before the deadline, and senders should keep their originals.

That makes temporary sharing useful for finished video exports, a collection of photographs, an event PDF, or a one-time document handoff. A permanent public menu, an editable shared workspace, or your only backup needs a destination designed for that longer role.

Clear limits are part of the product

A QR code opens the same download page as a link. A password controls downloading but does not hide all file details or prevent someone from redistributing a downloaded copy. Folder preparation takes place on the sender’s device, and mobile file pickers behave differently from desktop folder selection.

We document these boundaries so you can choose the right method before sending. The guides use the current JustSeconds workflow and are updated when those explanations or the product change.

Reach the service operator

The contact form reaches JustSeconds for product questions, privacy requests, and transfer problems. Include the full transfer link and the message shown when reporting a problem, but leave out passwords and confidential file contents.

Use the abuse reporting instructions for unsafe or unauthorized material, or the copyright reporting page if your work is being shared without permission. The Terms and Privacy Policy explain service use and information handling.
